Metal gasket with concentric corrugations that provide spring-back elasticity and sealing without soft filler material. Suitable for high-temperature service (up to 600 °C) and cycling loads where soft gaskets fail. Material: 316 SS, Inconel 625. Corrugations flatten under bolt load; recovery force maintains seal during thermal cycling. Standard: DIN 2697; used where spiral-wound gaskets are impractical.
