Metric V-belt profile per ISO 4184 and DIN 7753 with 16.3 mm top width and 13 mm height, the most widely used metric profile in general industry worldwide. Approximate imperial equivalent: B profile. Minimum pulley diameter: 140 mm (raw-edge) to 160 mm (wrapped). Power range: 2-75 kW per belt depending on speed and pulley size. Maximum peripheral speed: 42 m/s. Dominant in medium-duty industrial applications: pumps, fans, compressors, crushers, conveyors, and general machinery. Available in standard wrapped, raw-edge, and cogged (notched) constructions.
