V-shaped (chevron) scraper installed on the belt return strand to remove material adhering to the carrying face before it contacts return idlers and pulleys. Prevents buildup that causes wear and misalignment. Manufactured in polyurethane or rubber. Brands: Martin Engineering, Flexco, ASGCO. Complements primary and secondary cleaners in applications with sticky materials such as wet clay, coal fines, or potash.
