Emergency safety device installed along the conveyor that allows personnel to stop the equipment from any point along its length by pulling a continuous cable. Required by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.261, Mexico NOM-004-STPS, and Chile DS 72 on conveyors longer than 2 m. Coverage: up to 200 m per unit. Brands: Sick, Allen-Bradley, Schmersal. Requires manual reset to prevent accidental restart, ensuring the hazard is identified and corrected before resuming operation.
