A premium anti-fatigue mat incorporating a viscoelastic gel core (typically polyurethane gel) sandwiched between a durable rubber or PU top surface and a non-slip bottom layer, providing the highest level of cushioning and pressure distribution available in standing-position flooring. The gel conforms to foot contours and distributes body weight more evenly than foam or solid rubber, significantly reducing peak pressure points on heels and balls of feet. Studies comparing gel mats to foam/rubber alternatives show up to 50% greater fatigue reduction and measurably lower muscle activation in calves and lower back. Gel core: 4-8 mm of closed-cell polyurethane gel with memory-like response. Total thickness: 15-22 mm. Surface: anti-slip texture with beveled edges. Sizes: typically 2×3 ft and 3×5 ft for individual workstations.
