Conveyor using chains with flights (paddles) to drag material inside a closed rectangular channel. Suitable for abrasive materials at high temperatures (up to 500°C), wet materials, or adhesion-prone materials. Advantages: hermetically sealed, low maintenance, operable horizontally and inclined up to 45°. Types: single chain, double chain, U-trough drag, tubular (En-Masse). Brands: KWS Manufacturing, CDM Systems. Capacities up to 600 t/h.
