German standard specifying technical requirements for textile-reinforced conveyor belts: breaking strength per ply and total, maximum elongation, cover-to-carcass adhesion, and cover rubber properties (abrasion, tensile strength, elongation at break). Widely adopted in Latin America. Complementary standard DIN 22101 covers conveyor system design calculations. The series includes Part 1 (textile), Part 3 (rubber covers), and Parts 4-5 (special types: fire-resistant and antistatic).
